In honor of Charles F. Stilwill, who dedicated his career as Managing and Artistic Director for Waterloo Community Playhouse/Black Hawk Children's Theatre. Chuck's vision, energy and perseverance helped insure the success of WCP/BHCT for nearly 45 years. Established at his retirement in 2014, an annual scholarship is awarded in Chuck's name to support an active WCP/BHCT volunteer. 5 & 6 Year-Olds
June 17 - July 22 at 10:00-10:50 - Every Thursday only for six weeks
Where playtime and theatre meet! Kids get a chance to explore their creative spirits while improving performance skills.

Wild Things: Wild Things, Gruffalos, and Umps! Explore the inner and outer life of things may go bump in the night!
One week - JUNE 14 - 18 - meets 11 am to noon daily.
An Intensive Summer camp Experience that encourages budding artists to play and act and explore through theatre games and creative drama activities.

Devised Production Intensive
One Week - June 7-11 from 10:00-11:30 daily
This week-long experience will give emerging artists to expand their own creative freedom as they develop, create, and perform a one-of-a-kind theatrical event to be shared at the end. Class meets for an hour and half daily.

Meets Mondays: July 5 - August 9 from 4:30-5:20 pm
Students learn the basics or refresh their improvisational skills through games and activities. This is a great experience for kids who want to find more freedom in all presentational skills as well as heighten awareness.
