JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT
July 9-31
Joseph, his coat of many colors and his amazing ability to interpret dreams is a blockbuster of Biblical proportions. It is a journey through ancient Egypt beginning with Joseph’s brothers selling him into slavery. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s award-winning musical parable features an array of musical styles from country western and calypso to bubble gum pop and rock ’n’ roll. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is packed with favorites like “Any Dream Will Do,” “Close Every Door,” “One More Angel in Heaven,” and “Go Go Go Joseph.”

ON GOLDEN POND
September 10-18
Auditions: Saturday, July 10 @ 1:00 p.m. & Sunday, July 11 @ 2:15 p.m.
A beautiful story of three generations of a family growing closer over the summer. On Golden Pond is a touching, funny, and warmly perceptive comedy that is a study of a spirited and lovable couple facing their twi-light years. Seventy-nine-year-old Norman is beginning to feel old and helpless when his daughter’s visiting adolescent stepson gives him a fresh outlook on life.

THE BIG FIVE-OH
October 22-30

Auditions: Saturday, August 28 @ 1:00 p.m. & Thursday September 2 @ 7:00 p.m.
Whoever said life is better after 50 had better be right! This comedy about facing yourself, your milestones, and your family is as funny as Brian Mitchell’s Squirrel Lake, which audiences thoroughly enjoyed a few years ago. It is a hilarious, sometimes touching account of a grown man coming to terms with his age, his relationship with his son, and his future.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER
December 10-19

Auditions: Saturday, October 23 @ 1:00 p.m. & Sunday, October 24 @ 4:30 p.m.
A holiday show and a revival of Barbara Robinson’s The Best Christmas Pageant Ever which asks the question “can the Bradley family and the church ladies survive the Herdman family and their attempted coup of the annual church pageant.”

SMOKE AND MIRRORS
January 28-February 5

Auditions: Thursday, December 2 @ 7:00 p.m. & Sunday, December 5 @ 7:00 p.m.
A mystery-comedy by Will Osborne and Anthony Herera about a power-hungry director who lures his timid screenwriter to an isolated island and tries to outwit the Columbo like sheriff. Part Sleuth and part Deathtrap, there are plenty of smoke and mirrors.

THE SUGAR BEAN SISTERS
March 18-26

Auditions: Saturday, January 29 @ 1:00 p.m. & Sunday, January 30 @ 2:15 p.m.
In the spring a young man’s fancy may turn to love but in The Sugar Bean Sisters the Nettle sisters’ fancy turns to romance, murder and alien abduction. In Nathan Sanders’ authentic southern gothic comedy Willie Mae and Faye plot to find a way out of their swamp dwelling in Sugar Bean, Florida.

BOEING, BOEING
May 13-21

Auditions:Saturday, March 19 @ 1:00 p.m. & Sunday, March 20 @ 2:15 p.m.
Straight from its highly successful Broadway revival is Marc Camolettis farcical comedy Boeing, Boeing. A Parisian Lothario juggles three airline hostess fiancees by keeping one up, one down and one circling until they all have a schedule change and arrive on the same day.

THE BFG (Big Friendly Giant) October 1-3 October 1-3

When her BFG captures her and hauls her off to Giant Country, you can understand why their friendship gets off to a rocky start. The BFG needs Sophie to help save the children and their dreams from other not-so-friendly giants.

TREASURE ISLAND November 19-21 November 19-21

This classic swashbuckling tale of adventure seeking Jim Hawkins and the infamous Long John Silver takes us on the high seas of piracy in a tale of greed, as the concepts of good and evil are called into question.

Auditions: Saturday, December 11 @ 1:00 p.m & Wednesday, December 15 @ 6:00 p.m.
Carlie, Harvey and Thomas J., three foster children, have been taken in by the Masons who have had many other foster children in the past. It’s Carlie who compares the children to pinballs, controlled by external forces, and at the mercy of fate. The Masons provide a supportive environment in which the children learn to care for each other and begin to experience love and trust.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST April 15-17 April 15-17
Auditions: Sunday, February 13 @ 1:00 p.m. & Wednesday, February 16 @ 6:00 p.m.
We close our 45th season with an adaptation of this classic fairy tale. This story of a beast trapped by a spell and the young woman who spends weeks, possibly months with the Beast before falling in love with him. The message given by the story is that true love will prevail and that true beauty is within.
